Orwellian Law

Gerald Walpin has written a great article for the Wall Street Journal about FAIR v. Rumsfeld. Mr. Walpin shows how law schools are at the center of the attack on the legislative and judicial systems. Another outstanding article on the topic of lawyer (legal) activism was written by Walter Olson and published in Imprimis a while back. In his article, Mr. Olson talks about the "fourth branch of government"-- lawsuit precedent that becomes law.

It's disheartening to see that the centers of learning in America, where future leaders are educated, are the very places seeking to tear down the foundations of American government and society. It is my belief that, besides religion, education is the key to strengthening America--and not just any education but a classical, Christian education. The true battlegrounds for the heart and mind of America are the church and the schools.
